The McQuaig Institute was established in 1966 and has helped companies make better people decisions for over forty years.

Our assessment tools for job analysis, pre employment screening, employee retention and self development increase retention, reduce turnover and improve your bottom line.

Their founder, Industrial Psychologist Jack H. McQuaig, researched thousands of companies, assessing their high and low performers. He used behavioural interviews and psychological tests.

He discovered that people rarely succeed or fail due to lack of skills or intelligence – instead, their success or failure is due to elements of personality, including attitude, motivation and, especially and temperament behaviour. To measure these key elements, McQuaig developed personality tests and processes that make up McQuaig.

Jack McQuaig was a pioneer in the field of talent assessments and developed his original McQuaig Word Survey in 1967. Jack H. McQuaig has published numerous books and articles on selecting high performers and developing people.

McQuaig has earned the respect and confidence of thousands of companies across the world.

Today, The McQuaig Institute supports more than 1,200 organisations in over 30 countries through a web-based system backed by personal support. McQuaig delivers reduced turnover and increased productivity through more efficient teams and more engaged employees.
